Compatible Video Doorbell

Question

Posted

Hi guys,

Does anyone know which video doorbell (with 2 way intercom) can be integrated with Fibaro HC2? The Fibaro Intercom is too expensive, and I know Ring is not compatible. Is there anything else out there that I can use?

Thanks

no.

it's proprietary...

I am was trying to find doorbell also, and one year ago bought "ring".

not compatible with HC2 at all too expensive as for me (video history only for subscription)  closed API / etc  Also I have a hand-make doorbell on Raspberry Pi. it works with Fibaro SIP Server is Asterisk PBX and intercom application. But as I can understand FIBARO stop support old application for intercom cuz now have own doorbell.

Take a look at Nest Hello.  3 hours free history. Face recognition and announcement via Google Home... etc. If they integrate with IFTTT, this would open a way for Fibaro integration... I am seriously considering it...

if you are after a ring doorbell you can always use ifttt.

Just out interest how are you planing on using your intercom?

I have been thinking about having some warning when like a light flash and some TTS for when the doorbell is activated, but not thought how I would like to see the video...

Ring, Ring Pro, Skybell not August Doorbell pro works with Fibaro HC 2. These doorbell cameras are not compatible with the Z-wave technology.

Skybell

you may use as a simple camera in Fibaro UI. it's really cool, as against RING production...

Cursed be the day when I bought the RING PRO!

@ 10der so the Ring Pro is a "NOT" for you.

As an alternative, I already had a (simple) doorbel with a video screen. I now put in a wall plug to see if the doorbel uses more amps to trigger a scene and with my Hikvision video camera I take some pictures (email) and the Hikvision recordes all motion on an NVR. Just an alternative.

. My friend suggests me this device and then I did search this on google and read about it, and check its features also. It's such an amazing doorbell. You can monitor your places everywhere.
