Conexis L1 Smart Lock

Sjd101

Question

Very new to all this.  Only just started with HC 2.  Have two devices but will obviously be adding more but wanted to do it one at a time to aid my learning.  So the first device I have added is a Conexis L1 Smart Lock.  It paired fine with HC2 and I can lock and unlock the using HC2.  I have read up on the Master and Slave concept but struggling to configure the master.  Slave seemed to configure on adding the device.  I have attached a couple of screenshots.  How do I configure the Master?  The lock seems to work OK without doing anymore.

But what I am really trying to achieve is the door to unlock as I approach it by creating a scene.  Just really unsure where to start?  I have read up on scenes and tried to create a simple Magic Scene that secures the Lock if it remains unlocked for more than 10 mins but options are limited using this method.  However, not sure which variables I would use to out the scene together?  I realise I would need to use the block system but a bit out of my depth.

Sure this will all become easier the more time I spend with HC2 but at the moment its all a but daunting so some guidance would be welcome

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I am no expert at this but as you haven't had a response, what you have shown in the screen shot is the device "header" which shows the elements of the switch in the diagram not shown in your print screen. You probably have sorted this out now but let me know

  • Hi John

Didn't really sort it. Contacted Fibaro support who told me lock is not fully supported so it does not behave as you would expect. Long and short is it doesn't appear as a device in scenes so you cannot include it. Annoying
