ifttt webhooks does not run scene

I made a ifttt webhook request but is does not work. What am i doing wrong?

You can also pass parameters as fibaro:args...

Is this a new trigger or exciting trigger in ifttt you try to change? Lately, I try to change an exciting trigger with webbooks, which didnt work. had to rebuild that one from scratch in ifttt again. Maybe that helps

Hi @marius de jong, can it be that you should add your WAN address (and forward the port accordingly) rather than your LAN IP address? J

You need to add: "invokeScenes":true  in the body. See example below.

 

Otherwise it will not work ;-(.

EDIT: Sorry, forget the above remark: only applies when you change a variable with Webhooks and want to trigger a scene based on that variable.

Hi,

 

Did you get this working?

 

I prefer getting IFTTT to send an email to an e-mail account, then I get my Home controller to poll a website (https://www.ijpuk.com) which checks for messages. This way I am not exposing my home to the internet and allowing bad people to control my home.
