Hue Plugin and OSRAM Smart+ Switch

Question

Posted

Hi,

iam using the hue plugin and it's easy to use. Great work for that. One week ago i bought an OSRAM Smart+ switching device. I can control it via HUE App on my smartphone. If i want to switch on this new device with the hue plugin over fibaro app or webpage, the device in the hue app switches on and after a few seconds it switches off. The hardware switch does not react! I tried moving the dimming sliders but this had no influence.

Is it a known problem? I ordered two more devices, so i want to control via fibaro. Otherwise i will write my own interface to HUE bridge, like the plugin implements.

Is it possibible that you use the wrong command for that device?

If i get access to sourcecode i think i could fix it ;)

Bye,

Jens

I found this and it works for me

local id = 560 -- Fibaro-ID für meinen Osram SMART+ Plug

-- einschalten:
fibaro:call(id, 'changeHue',            0)
fibaro:call(id, 'turnOn')
-- einiges muss offenbar doppelt gesendet werden:
fibaro:call(id, 'changeHue',        10000)
fibaro:call(id, 'changeSaturation',   256)
fibaro:call(id, 'changeBrightness',   256)
fibaro:call(id, 'turnOn')

-- 3 Sekunden Pause für demo:
fibaro:sleep(3000)

-- ausschalten ist einfach:
fibaro:call(id, 'turnOff')
