Need help connecting FGS 222 to garage motor

Question

Posted

Hi all, need some assistance wiring FGS 222 (2x1.5kw) to my garage motor. I’m from South Africa and the letters on the receiver may be different to other countries.

At present I have no physical switch on my garage to open / close. I just have a simple RF remote on my car keys and a receiver connected to the motor. I would like to keep that functionality and have the ability to control the motor from my phone.

The motor receives a 230v feed and charges a 24v battery and runs on 24v.

I understand that I have would need to connect

terminals -  L & N to a 230v supply

                     IN to ? Gnd

                     Q1 to ?BT

What about S1? Where would that go?

Looking forward to sorting this out asap, thanks in advance!

Hi,

The  FGS 222 (2x1.5kw) cannot be used to control your garage door directly!

Have a look at this:

Thanks for replying TurboWannaBe. I notice that there was a comment on the link you sent by someone who did use the fibaro double switch relay to control his garage motor.
