hikvision indoor station

Question

Posted

For our new house, I am planning to use some hikvision camera's as well as the hikvision IP-intercom. Main reason for me is that they are fairly priced, the integration with a hikvision nvr, and the fact that I can use the indoor station of hikvision.

Hikvision also has alarm functionality build into these indoor stations that can indicate @home, @sleep, Away etc. Ideally I would like to use that to put that into a variable into the hc2. Anybody has had similar thoughts or even succeeded in such functionality?

Have you also been able to include the indoor station to the hc2?

Not yet. I asked today the API documentation from the Hikvision support department.

Ok, as soon as I have the hikvision connected I also will give it a try. Would be great if the status of the hikvision indoor unit can be forwarded to the hc2. Then I could use the hikvision indoor screen to controller my present state.

When you receive the information from hikvision, could you please forward them?

Just curious if you have received any response from hikvision?

You have added the camera's to the Homecenter.

I also have the Hikvision NVR with Hikvision camera's. If I connect the camera's directly to the NVR I can choose between "Plug and Play" and have the Power over Ethernet POE but the camera's are in a network only accessible to the NVR itself.

I want to use the camera's also from the Homecenter. If I choose for the right IP's for the camera's, the POE isn't accessible at the NVR. I have to use a separate switch with POE.

Should I use some kind of NAT or Port Forward from the NVR?

    Anyone experienced the same?

Hikvision camera protocol HC2 originally had a plug-in, the key is whether the Haikang fluorite camera can dock?
