Is it possible to make a summary of devices in HC2

Question

Posted

I am looking for a summary, a report, or something, from all the devices,  are connected with the Home Center.

Is that possible? To excel or something like that?

By example I want to all the information about the fibaro wall plugs I am using with HC2.

Or use report function of HC2 Toolkit (

Please login or register to see this link.

). It's save txt file on PC. For download you need to create account on French forum and for enable download section post message on welcome section

The answer to your question depends on

    - what devices you want to include: HW devices only or "devices" in the HC sense? Hidden devices? Virtual devices?

    - what information you want to see: names only, or configuration and meta data?

    - what format the report shall have: text, json, Excel, ....?

I suggest that you start with an API call to https://_ip_/api/devices and explore the response.

    Cheers,

This table  (i don't know how to copy an excel sheet) show some of my devices, their neighbor devices, the lastworking route, and the timestamp of last refresh of LWR. If just want to know the ids of your Plugs there is a simple api- command using a filter. That would give you something like that.

    [DEBUG] 10:04:13: Neighbours of device 65)No Name : [305,323,331,513,425,473,490,497]
[DEBUG] 10:04:13: Last working route used by device 65 : [1,323,305]
    [DEBUG] 10:04:13: -----------------------------------------------------------
    [DEBUG] 10:04:15: Neighbours of device 114)Aquarium : [266,121,305,328,125,331,464,471,473,490,497,504,520,568,227,231,236]
[DEBUG] 10:04:16: Last working route used by device 114 : [1,331]
    [DEBUG] 10:04:16: -----------------------------------------------------------
    [DEBUG] 10:04:18: Neighbours of device 121)HktWanne : [1,114,266,323,331,513,430,464,473,490,504]
[DEBUG] 10:04:18: Last working route used by device 121 : [1]
    [DEBUG] 10:04:18: -----------------------------------------------------------

Ups I was sure this was the first line-  sorry:

    hc_ip_adress\api\devices

type this in your browser and you get a lot of data.  But if you want to retrieve a certain information its not the best way. There is a filter statement to get the desired information. But for this you need a scene with lua code. And this is not a big thing.

Should do. Except your browser didn't autofill the line. The full statement should look like http://192.168.1.200/api/devices

Did you get an 501 or 404 error? You also should be logged on as admin in another browser-tab, if not you will be asked for credentials (user password)

What happens if you just type in the ip of HC i.e. http://192.168.1.200- That should give the homescreen of your HC right?

Thanks it's ok now, I have a lot of data:-)

We noticed 5 failed login attempts to your HC2-006493 that seemed suspicious. Blocked for 30 minutes:-) My own IP, great Fibaro
