Two Gang switch has common feed

I want to use two switch modules for two lights from a two gang switch. However, The two gang switch has a common feed and I guess I would need to connect the two modules 'L'  feed together? Is this allowed. Sorry if this is already elsewhere but I didn't find it. It must be a common issue? I guess if this wasn't a homekit installation a 'double' switch would be the answer?

  • I'll answer my own question. After measuring the voltage difference between two switches I got zero volts. So I tried it and all you need to do is connect the second switch 'S1' terminal to the light switch gang 2 and both switches work. It would be nice for a dual module as per the Zwave but if you had a triple switch clearly you would then be able to deplaoy a dual and single.
