Can a HC2 coexist with an Apple Home Kit where as some units can be controlled by both?

For example a single relay switch can be controlled by voice through the Home Kit and also by the Fibaro phone app?

Also trying to find information id the double relay switch also will work with Apple Home Kit.

Have only found information that the single is ok.

Yes, they can coexist: I use homebridge to control hc2 z-wave devices in the iOS home app. I have no experience doing things the other way around.

    Thank you for the reply.

Does this mean that you can use Siri commands for the HC2 devices?

The user want to use HC2 for all controls but also be able to use Siri for some.

I have no experience in Mac. Does the homebridge need to be running all the time or is it only a help to create the link

The homebridge needs to be running all the time (on a NAS or RPI for Example) and yes, you can use siri then for controlling things (works very fast)
If you want to use the "Home" application outside the house as well you need an Ipad, appletv or homepod constantly running in the house as well.

    Thanks a lot Vinisz.

We'll see if they are up to the bridge option. Smells like a lot of support.

Tip: create a dedicated user within HC2 for homebridge. Then, give this user only access to those devices you want to control with Siri. Makes managing the iOS/Mac home app a lot easier :)

There is no support needed once you have it up and running (follow the tip from @3JL) , I have it running here and never look at it, it always works..

the only thing I think is not working well are virtual devices

    By the way,

Do you have any experience from the WEMO HomeKit bridge and Fibaro?
