Rain alert

Hi All,

Did anyone manage to realise a rain alert? Something like:

"Hey you, rain is coming in 10 mins and the windows are open upstairs"

There are mobile apps that have a rain alert (example: buienalarm.nl), but I couldn't find one with an api that also covers the alerts.

I am using Buienradar VD.

It gives a alarm 15 minutes before rain begins.

I use it to close the sun shade automatically.

i have this one and it works everytime (even when buienrader says there is no rain)

Indeed, that's the best method to prove its raining.

But can it predict rain, like Buienradar?

there is nothing to predict, when a drop of water falls on the device it closes a no contact
