Thinking of buying Hc2

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I am currently running my smarthome products via Futurehome (a Norwegian based company).
I have started to look for other gateways as they have so many problems, they are also lacking the foundation of the smart house completely.
For a long time they have trying to incorporate the new z-wave engine Z\IP. They are now running 1 year late on that. On top of that you have no way of making any rules within the system, which means you have to go trough IFTTT and Strinigfy. It is way better where this is possible to run locally.

Before I proceed to buy a new gateway I have some question regarding what it support and not.

Do Fibaro Home Center 2 support these products(?):

Heatit ztrm2 - I have not find any information about this. Do Fibaro have template for this?
NorthQ Power Reader
Nexxa wall plug with dimmer
Aoetec Smart Dimmer 6
Aoetc Range Extender 6
Popp Wall Plug Switch Outdoor
Philips Hue (lightstrip, outdoor pedant, outdoor Lily)

The Fibaro Homecenter 2 will support:

  • Philips Hue through a Virtual Device.
  • Popp  wall switch
  • All Aeon devices you mention

Perhaps support:

  • NorthQ Power Reader
  • Heatit - if it is the wall thermostat. Else probably not.

Probably not:

  • Nexxa wall plug. I have never come across that plug. Is it z-wave? Do you mean Nexa? Then perhaps.

Nesa z-wave version should work. I do not know if there is a template, but the template is not needed.

Yes, except that most of his devices are not on that list but still works with the Homecenter.
