Fibaro Heater Update Issues

Question

Posted

Hi All,

Trying to update my fibaro heat controller from 1.3 to 1.4. However, getting the following error:

Fail - File size error contact fibaro support

What I've tried:

- putting the heat controller next to the homecenter (less then 30 cm)

- full factory reset

up till now I keep getting the error...Getting really frustrated with these updates from Fibaro.. for some reason its never just pressing a button..

Long shot. If it keeps failing... The only thing that comes to mind right now is... someone reported this happens if you included in secure mode. Try non-secure mode.

I understand your frustration. Sometimes it just works the first time. Sometimes it takes a few attempts...

Maybe it depends on what is happening on your nework. Maybe it depends on certain code running on your HC... HC firmware >= 4.170 is recommended.
