Steinel outdoor z-wave IR sensor IS 140

Question

Posted

I have just added to the  my HC2 the Steinel outdoor zwave IR sensor  IS 140.

The device was added and i can switch the connected light. Sofar so good.

However  HC2 show a notification regarding added sensor, 'Devices without z-wave template' .

In the configuration i can download the sjabloon as an XML file.

But then i dont know how to get this uploaded into the HC2 or what to dowith this file?

Anyone who can help me out here? Any documentation?

the template is not necessary for device work. It's only to simplify user live ;-) , you not need remember all parameters of device (1,2,..) and add manually for edit on advanced page but parameters are displayed with description and with  possible values (look any fibaro module).

The "download" is for export xml of new not know by Fibaro device from your HC2 and send to support for create template. Teroticali they create new template and add to one of nexts release, but this never happen or not offen.
