Markoe

Question

Hi

I have been trying to find a Wall plug for outdooor usage and did find this

Please login or register to see this link.

Only problem is that I can not include it to my home center 2 zway network.

Is the any other way to do this than the add device and is there any debug info what went wrong during the process?

I have tried several times and put the device near the HC during the process.

  • I see what you mean .. In spesification it says 0 - 35°C . Here it can get minus degrees like -20 during winter. Other posibility ofcourse is drill a hole to the wall and put the relay inside the house. :-)

  • Yes it is 868,42 MHz. Is there a list of well beheaving devices somewhere , so I can avoid buying devices that do not work with Fibaro HC2?

I quess the Zwave plus logo is not a qarantee of anything.

I am also interrested of humidity sensor that works with HC2 , any hints?

Expensive, you can also take a NeoWallplug and pack it in a protective cover.

    NeoWallplug €20,= Wish.com and protective cover < €5,=.

Water will get in... Product is not suitable for outdoor use. Not even in such a "protection". Thermal cycling sucks in moisture. Creepage and Clearance isn't enough for this application. 230 V will flash over to the components and destroy the plug. If you are lucky, it flashes over to protective earth and trips your RCD. Not that people EVER listen to me when I talk about electrical safety... But hey, I can try...
