Question

Hi guys,
I recently got a Fibaro Double Switch 2 and I made a test setup so I can experiment with it before installing it into my wall. For this test setup I have single lightbulb and a single, mechanical, old-skool wall switch.
It's connected like the left image in the drawing.
When I push the B button on the double switch I can turn the light on/off, but when I use the mechanical switch the light does not turn off or on. I've checked the wiring a couple of times and nothing seems wrong. What's wrong here?
I'm also very new to this matter, so if I ask stupid questions, please forgive me.
