iPhone app crashes

Question

Posted

Dear Forum, three days ago i installed the updated Fibaro app (version 2.24.0). the update described iPhone X support and also fixed unwanted logoff. So, no big deal, push install and update. This I better could not have done... the app connects to my HC, the home screen with all icons (lights devices, camera's, rooms etc is shown, i can swipe to the second page that shows help, intercomm and some other icns I do not use. but.... all buttons create a crash and the app stops. all but the camera's button. if I select this i get a view of all my camera's. so there is a connection. Nevertheless I cannot control my home, cannot turn lights on or off, cannot activate heating, nothing...

at first attempt I rebooted my iPhone, no luck still a crash after selecting something. then I deleted the Fibaro app at all. re-installed from the iStore and put in all my settings for connecting to my HC. it connects, I can see my camera's again, but still a crash on every other attempt to control lights or temperature. My wife's iPhone is not updated (and I wil not update it) my iPad is also not updates and these work fine. so I am not totally out of control, but i is seriously annoying that I cannot use my iPhone....

anyone else also have this problem after the update to 2.24.0 released september 21th 2018?

please let me know if it is only me, or a failure in the app.

I have the same issue on my android Galaxy note 10+ and my wife also has this issue on her Iphone, Fiabo old app works with no crashing but it does not connects remotely it says network error

Fibaro doesn't care about these problem, they have designed good looking application but lots of bugs, they don't care and dont reply to the customer, shame on you Fibaro
