Scene without a triggering device

Question

Posted

Is there a way to create a manual scene which is run only when pressing the button in the app, without assigning to a triggering device like a switch.

Wanted to create a movie scene for lights without assigning it to a specific button, so I can launch it either through Fibaro mobile app, tablet or Alexa.

Can the triggering device be a mobile app manual button click? What's the right way to configure this?

It seems (at least to me) that only scenes created in LUA can be made without a triggering device

Not sure this answers the question. Can you give an example how to create a scene which can be run manually without a triggering device?

Just make one time event time scene with date in past and you are done.

Thanks, that might work. Just seems weird to do a workaround for such a simple thing as running a scene from a mobile device.
