Virtual ON OFF Switch

Hello,

 

I would like to create a virtual switch to trigger IFTTT actions I use a scene for this, but  I prefer a switch for example: If I press buttons ON on  Virtual Switch button will stay ON but it will not do any action IFTTT will pick that up and preform action Can anyone help me with this virtual device

To achieve something like what you want, I have to define a two button device with a label. You can set this up as shown in the tutorial, then for each button set the radio button to LUA code and enter something like the following:

On the second button change the text to OFF ;). You can use the main radio button (at the top of the button display) to drive that button first. Do not code anything for the main section.

I would have prefered to set the background colour on the button itself but have not found out how to do this yet.

In the absence of better help, I hope this gets you started.
