getSourceTrigger() Alarm Panel

Hi,

 

Does anybody now whether you can check whether the alarm panel triggered a scene using getSourceTrigger? If so, how can you distinguish that it's the alarm panel. if it's not feasible with getSourceTrigger, is there any other way to know if alarm panel was the reason the scene was triggered?

    Hi @eureka ,

     

    Make a scene and put this code in the scene:

    Please login or register to see this code.

    Then in alarm panel add action and select this scene to be started if alarm is breached. I didn't try this, but I don't think it will really work and probably you will get that scene is started manually. Still you can try and let us know what did you find out. Result of source trigger you will see in scene debug window.

    yes, unfortunate that it says "other". Alarm Panel itself doesn't get a scene ID or something?
