Issue with RGBW with motion sensor (non fibaro)

Question

Posted

Hi,

I have conected RGBW controller to my led light which is being turned on automatically by motion detector (standard one which you can buy in any electric shop). Whenever motion is detected power is given to RGBW controller and the led strip works for around 5min. It works fine for some time only... It can work for hours and then without any apparent reason it stops. In Fibaro configuration I can see that it is still on and to get it to work again I need to turn it off and on again.

Can anyone help me get this to work permanently?

It’s funny for me what you control rgbw controller by power. So HC2 periodically lose communication and control under rgbw controller.

So my question is : can you powered controller constantly and put signal on/off via the connectors described in the documentation
