SOLVED: Fibaro e Hikvision

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello, we have Fibaro Home Center 2 (version 4.510) and 3 hikvision DS-2CD2143G0 cameras.
The goal is to place these cameras inside the fibaro and activate them with an "ongoing" alarm.
We have verified the following paths that are correctly reachable via the web:

URL to receive JPG images from the camera .: http: // user: pwdtelecamera @ IPtelecamera / ISAPI / Streaming / channels / 101 / picture
URL to receive the data stream (stream) MJPG from the camera .: http: // user: pwdtelecamera @ IPtelecamera / ISAPI / Streaming / channels / 102 / httppreview

We have modified the same also as below without a positive result; in particular, the preview is not displayed either via the web, or via APP:

URL to receive JPG images from the camera .: / ISAPI / Streaming / channels / 101 / picture
URL to receive the MJPG data stream (stream) from the camera .: / ISAPI / Streaming / channels / 102 / httppreview

URL to receive JPG images from the camera .: ISAPI / Streaming / channels / 101 / picture
URL to receive the data stream (stream) MJPG from the camera .: ISAPI / Streaming / channels / 102 / httppreview

Has anyone already faced and managed to solve the problem? Maybe there is a bug in the version of fibaro or there is an additional parameter to set.

Thank you!

Hi @eulogic, I experience the same problem as you do. My camera model: DS-2CD2145FWD-IS

I can access my URLS with a webbrowser but not by using the Fibaro HC2.

    JPG
    http://admin:[email protected]/Streaming/channels/101/picture
    http://admin:[email protected]/ISAPI/Streaming/channels/101/picture

    MPEG
    http://admin:[email protected]/Streaming/channels/102/preview
    http://admin:[email protected]/ISAPI/Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

Fibaro is encoding the URL like:

    http://192.168.99.2/api/proxy?url=http%3A%2F%2Fadmin%3Apassword%40192.168.98.1%2FStreaming%2Fchannels%2F102%2Fpreview

    This is my config:

    Protocol: http

IP Address (including port if needed): 192.168.98.1

    JPG path: Streaming/channels/101/picture

    MJPG stream path: Streaming/channels/102/preview

Encoding the URL with '%2F' instead of '/' causes passwords wit special characters to be coded as well, so the first step was to change my camera's password. Unfortunately, I still have no contact. Not in MPEG and neither in JPEG.

Hopefully there is someone on the forum who managed to get this working somehow! If it takes a while, I might contact Fibaro support eventually.

Wow just after my reply to your post I had found out the solution on this forum, thanks to @mfran.

He wrote "in configuration of cam: configuration>system>security>verification: schould be 'basic/digest'" and that solved it for me.

I use these URL's and then also the preview works:

    JPG: ISAPI/Streaming/channels/101/picture

    MJPG: ISAPI/Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

Hope it wil be solved for you as well @eulogic

I have 2 HIKVision cameras and included them successful in HC2.

I only managed to get the JPG working but for my purpose (take pictures when doorbell rings and when alarm triggers) that is more than enough.

    Here are my settings:
