Dear administrator

This is a user support forum. You can address the "admins" if you want and eventually they will answer, but it is not the best way to get in touch with them.

But for direct support you'll have to mail to:

[email protected]

I recommend you do that, because you'll get a registration number which helps in tracking the issue. Also needed if you want to send the FGTs for replacement.

I am sorry, I am not an administrator. But I do know a lot about the FGT-001 if I may say so myself...

continuous calibration of the controller that also prevent sleeping.

If you hear the motor spin for several seconds and/or see "calibration failed" several times per day then the FGT might be incompatible with the valve and indeed it may drain the battery.

There are several other possible explanations, for instance, a firmware bug that drains the battery.

Please send "blackbox logs" to [email protected] so they can check what is happening.

The file is encrypted, you'll have to contact them...

update the software?

If you are using a Home Center, you'll get a notification. Newest firmware is 4.4.

@peterlag, please check if plastic holding valve control mechanism is not damaged. That could cause unseccfull calibration and in the end battery depletion. I've RMAd 1 or 2 with damaged valve control mechanism.

Also if it's battery only and calibration was succesfull, then you need RMA. I've RMAd 1 or 2 with battery drain issue.
