Limit power usage in heating

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi ALl,

I have a couple of Infrared heaters in place which are connected using FLUSH ON/OFF THERMOSTAT from Qubino.

Please login or register to see this attachment.

I would like to run a scene which limits the maximum of 3 devices heating due to power restrictions. (When one finishes heating, next in Queue starts heating...)

I think this one should be fairly easy, but can't find a way. :-/

Could anyone assist me?

In a next phase, I would like my motion detectors per room being used to only heat till 21 degrees if someone is in the room. If not, 19 degrees during the day, 10 degrees during the night. Any suggestions here?

Thanks a million!

Dre

Problem in this case is, that thermostat is controlling heating by temperature set to it and is not changing the state (ON/OFF) when temperature is reached. So in central unit there is no evidence (beside the consumption if reported) if the heating is finished. But in your case, you can measure the time that is needed to complete the action or control thermostats ON/OFF state by reported temperature. 3 block scenes should do it:

1. If temperature on T1 is reched, turn T1 off and turn on T2 with defined temperature

2. If temperature on T2 is reached, turn off T2 and turn on T3.

3. If temp on T3 is reached, turn of T3 and turn on T1
