Question

Posted

Hi,

im planning to introduce some colors into the kids room. There lights are today controlled using a dimmer 2 but the light bulb is just normal white.

- What if I add a zipato rgbw to the light and run them in serial. Can I use both the dimmer 2 to dim and the rgbw to just control the colour? Association will work?

- Can the colour be adjusted in the Fibaro iOS app?

notice.

1) RGB(W)devices it's simple 3 (or 4) dimmers combined in one.

2) FIBARO can support only own Fibaro RGBW device

3) if you trying to connect others 3rd party's devices (non-FIBARO) you will get 3 (4) independent dimmers in Fibaro UI.

Ok, other options then? Let’s replace my dimmer 2 with a fibaro rgbw module. What  light will work the best? E27 socket.

i guess I also need a 12v trafo before fibaro rgbw.

@KristianO Fibaro RGBW controller (IMHO) works only with 12/24v LED (LED stripes)

idk about standard  E27 socket lamps...
