Fibaro Motion Sensor / Scene or only association?

Alex Rob

Question

Hello, i tried now for few days to find out how i could get it work. Red a lot of Manuals and tutorials but i have to admit that i did not find answears on my questions.

I connected motion dectector on home center 2 to with a fibaro dimmer 2:

Created to magic scenes movement stopp shall turn off dimmer 2 after 15 minutes

Movemt start shall turn on.

This works out but if u move a lot i get a alarm that too many scenes triggered. Can u just ignore that or did i programmed something wrong ?

If u use associations:

I could not read in the manuals in wich cases u can use end point and groups / i see that the groups explained on the manual. I also see that u can add more Groups!

As an example the fibaro dimmer 2 it has 5 groups if u add more i did not has a function then?

Where do i find explanation for endpoints? do they got a function? Is there a diffrence betwenn end point one or 0?

When do u connect a device to home center 2? S mode or M mode?

If u connect a motion sensor to dimmer 2 do u have to use Smode or M mode and does it needs to be done on both devices?

I just started using Fibaro home center, if u got a manual wich explains my questions i pleased to recive the link :)

Hi,

The only way I know to fix the warning "too many scenes triggered" is to create the scene in LUA.
