Philips HUE plugin, color temperature

I have installed the philips hue plugin. Does anyone know how to change color temperature in LUA?

I can get the value, but I don't know how to set it.

Thanks for replying. Yes, I know about this one. But I just want to keep it really simple, trying to use the hue plugin. I can change the brightness in one line, but not the color temperature.

to create a color with hue I in hcl I created a vd with different colors for colors and then use in scenes to call that color.  you must have access to philips hue with developer privileges ....

this is how you gain access to your HUE developer privileges.

1. Login here: <hue bridge ip>/debug/clip.html

3a. in the URL: box just have /api 3b. in the Message Body box type: {"devicetype":"my_hue_app#iphone peter"} 3c. Press the link button on the bridge and 3d. Click "POST" back in the web browser. It should give you a long string for the new user you created.

1. In URL box type: /api/(new user string you just created)/config/

2. About 13 lines down, you'll see the whitelist...all the apps that are authorized to access the bridge.

3. Get that long alphanumeric string above the device you want to remove (it'll look like: f6SEmYj6FMGSq5aRqaP4jPO6YaHbbddAzhBjo2qnD)

4. In the URL box type: /api/(user string)/config/whitelist/long_alphanumeric_hash_here

5. Press DELETE. You should get a "success" message

Hue and saturation give 0 no matter what I set i to.

But my question is still, how to change the ct (color temperature) ?

Hi y'all

 

I have the same problem. It seems that the plugin has been developed to work mainly with color ambiance bulbs rather than with the white ambiance bulbs. There seems to be simply no command to change the ct. Question is still how to circumnavigate this problem. And again it only applies to the white ambiance bulbs.

after alot of waiting, and no answer, I have made a switch to homeseer. and I can say this works really good with all my hue products.
