did someone ever wondered how to enter "Menu / Setup" Menu, or Wakeup Swipe, if gesture menu has been disabled in Parameters and the Swipe is mounted into the Wall?
Sure, one could remove it from the Wall an push the B-Button, but the trick is very simple - just take e.g. Neodym magnet and place it in the middle of the Fibaro Swipe.
How this works? No, this does not have anything to do with the Microchip GestIC® Technology used in Fibaro Swipe (

). There is hidden reed contact in the middle of the Swipe, when closed with magnet it acts as if you would enter the Menu by holding hand (when this is enabled) or B-Button on the back side of Swipe. Knowing this, one can easily mount Fibaro Swipe everywhere, without any "dismount" way (oh well, unless you need to replace power supply^^).Link to comment
