@10der, I think he means a "flow" sensor (measunring throughput and usage) , not a "flood" sensor...

never saw.

but if he is developer he can use

0) any Water Meter Pulse Sensor with pulse output

1) Z-UNO connected to the Water Meter Pulse Sensor output

yes, Z-Uno is a high-ticket item you may use ESP8266 (~$2) and send pulse ticks to HC2, or vice versa poll ESP from HC2

Yes I mean water flow measure.

By the way can you elaborate further on Water Meter Pulse?. Did it send pulse signal to nearby when unit count change? Over wire or wireless.

    for example

    1) it's not zuno

Please login or register to see this link.

    2) here you can find how to work with ZUNO + pulse event. In this sample counting of rain

Thanks 10der!. I got the concept. My next question is, let's say we can convert pulse to counter. How can we get it displayed in Fibaro GUI?. How does it look like then?

    Idk ;)

if you develop it via ZUNO idk how HC2 can count it and show in HC2 UI

maybe it will show as like a rain meter. It’s not bad as for me. But it’s my guess.

if you develop it via ESP,

    1) poll device for grabbing values

    2) you should store count values in local database.

(Cuz you want to know how many times your wife take a bath at this week ;), for example)

    3) you want to see this value in HC2. It’s simple VD

Hallo. Has anyone managed this to integrate into the FIBARO HC2?
