Firmware update Heat Controller 4.3 to 4.4

Question

Posted

Hello,

I'm using a HCL running firmware 4.520. I've 3 Fibaro Heat Controllers with firmware 4.3. In the controller a new firmware (4.4) is show for these devices. When i try to update to this version my HCL hangs and i need to pull the powercord to reset it.

After starting up no new firmware is installed on the Heat Controllers... I've tested all 3 devices multiple times with the same result.

Is this a known problem and how do I fix it?

Kind regards!

Hi,

I did upgrades from 4.3 to 4.4 six times without any problems. Maybe your devices are too far from HCL?

    Hi,

No luck with that. I even removed the controllers and placed hem 2 Meters a way from the controller. I think the issue is with the Home Center Lite...

    Second FHC done.

    1. Distance FHC2 - FHC  exactly 2 meter.

    2. Set Parameter 2 : increase receiver sensitivity (shortens battery life)

    3. Awake FHC

    4. Update.

Hi Mik, please try na soft reconfigure of the heat controler, then wait for the heat controller to come back, then reboot you HC of HCL

Then after the reboot try the update again!
