Fibaro Flood sensor factory reset problem

Reke

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have a serious problem with my "flood sensor".  I have to do a factory reset on the sensor. I follow the maintenance guide and also see youtube videos, too. The red LED doesn't blink.

The HC2 hardware version is 4.503

What I did:

1. Pressed the TMP button and hold it

2. I waiting for the yellow LED

3. I release the TMP and after press it again so quickly after release

What happened:

The yellow LED blinks and after it was dark immediately . (The red LED doesn't blink.)

4. The sensor doesn't give a sings of life.

5. I removed the battery, after putting it back.

6. The sensor given a Bipp and after green LED is blinking.

I see you made it correct.

If new battery does not help, you can try to reset it via Z-Wave through exclusion process or go with RMA to your reseller/dealer.

    Hi,

I am trying to reset the device after battery died.

I follow the instructions but the light does not turn yellow and then green.

It is always green and I can't pair the device anymore as it has been removed from the fibre app and the HomeKit app.

    Any suggestions?

It works well on its own but I need a smart device not a normal flood sensor
