Devolo Metering plug MT2655

Question

Posted

I have just bought an HC2 and was trying to swap over my existing Devolo plugs from my Devolo Home Control. The metering plug registers with the HC2 in the devices without a problem but it shows up as 4 sensors? A master and 4 slaves! I have tried to delete the slaves without any success.

Is there a known compatibility with the first generation Devolo metering plugs?

Any Ideas?

Hello,

I believe this would be correct.

Each sensor within the power plug is represented as a 'device'.  As your plug not only has the ability to switch on / off but also has power metering so shows up as another device off the master.

If you don't want to see them, you can always hide them.

Hope that helps.

Ian

    Hi Ian,

thanks for the information, I will try to hide them once I've figured it out? The HC2 is a lot more advanced than the Devolo home control. 8-)

    Happy to help.

You will need to go into the device advance settings.  You should see this option.
