Setting up user accounts

Hi,

I’ve set up my fibaro ID and can access my HC lite via the fibaro app.

I want to add my wife as another user and have set up her fibaro ID using her iPhone 6. I have also added her as a user in the HC lite. She has downloaded the app and can get through to the login for the HC lite but then gets a message to say that the HC is registered to another user (me).

how do I add my wife as a user to my HC lite?

Use PC and click "ad user". That way I have added users.

I’ve added user and can be seen in config-access control as per your pic but cannot access through app

@hTiger1 using the cloud requieres 2 logins,

first the cloud login, second the "wife" login

( i'm, not sure, don't use it)

When I use my phone, it works fine without logging in every time, both remote and local.
If I need to log in from PC when I'm not at home, it requires 2 login.

As far as I know , you cannot have two Fibaro ID for same controller, but many users.

It means when you run the application, use same Fibaro ID in both cases (yours and your wife), but for login you can use different "users"

Ah..that makes sense, I’ll give it a go.

That didn’t work either. I set my wife up as a user in config/access control with her email and password, I used my Fibaro ID to connect to the HC lite through the app on her phone and then used her user details. Got invalid login details message. Any other ideas?

@RBS i did test it, and it works here

does it work localy?

the login is her login name NOT her email adres

@akatar sadly not! This is what I’ve tried so far. 

Added wife as user Login: Clare, email and password.

Clare registers for fibaro ID.

Clare downloads fibaro app.

tries to connect to HC through app using her ID.

gets ‘ID already assigned’ Which will be my ID.

tries to connect to HC through using my ID and her username/password (same as set up in config/access control).

gets invalid login message

tries to connect to HC through app using email/password (same as set up in config/access control).

gets invalid login message.

You have created your wife in HCL access control, then go to "settings" on her phone, click "choose HC", click "add", click "manually" and fill in the fields it should work.

@hTiger1 Thanks but HC doesn’t show as a network in WiFi settings or should I look somewhere else?

@cag014 @akatar I’ve tried both User and email to connect to HC, no luck with either.

ive also tried admin/admin and this doesn’t work thinking this not the same local login for HC lite?

Please try to connect from PC browser using your wife user and password, is it work?
