Aeon Labs Energy meter 3 clamps

paddovo

Question

Hi,

I live in Czech republic. I have had HC2 and all this zwave stuff going on since 2016 without any real issue. That is the right time for my brain to start asking questions about weird actions of the system through the time.

The thing I have on my mind this time is in the picture. This occurres twice a year and exactly in the same time on 23rd December. It is not possible for my house to produce or receive such amount of energy, so what is the cause of the energy peak? Do you have any suggestions or the same experience?

I got visited more than 10 times by energy distributor for unnaturaly high energy consumption in the beginning of every year so far so I don´t think it´s only made up in my mind, but more or less I want to ask the community here if anyone has or had the same "problem"?

Thanks for your replies.

JJ

  • UPDATE:

It started to show even more nonsense all of sudden. I can hardly think of any house that would have such a consumption like me now. 270 kW!!

Please, is there anyone here that would know something about these issues?

Maybe report this to aeon as a bug with their device so they can release a new version.

    Hi @Stiven,

did that with the first issue already but thanks for bringing back common sense into this matter. I will do that again and post the result here if I have any.

    Cheers!

  • Ok, I did not find out what was the issue but I tried good old HC2 reboot and it seems to work now.

Plus I got a suggestion from Aeon Labs (Aeotec) for setting up parameters so this might be useful for someone:

I wasn´t able to find "Parameter 2" on my DSB28 HEM3 (2nd Edition) though so you have to add it manually.

With all respect, Aeotec was really trying to help so don´t be afraid to ask them directly.

    Cheers!
