AeonTec Multisensor 6 does not update Humidity automaticly

erikcramerjr

Question

My Multisensor about 10 meters from my HC2 does not update its humidity status to the HC2 unless i press the Button on it.

Motion is updated  Though, temperature lux etc is also not updated though.

I have removed and re inluded the device and gave it a soft reconfigure without result

its on firmware v 1.11

HC2  4.520

Param 40

is enables (Selectivly reporting when measurement reaches treshhold )

Param 41  Temperature treshold

1 Degrees

Param 42 Humidity Treshold

2 %

Param 43 Lux treshold

20 Lux

Param 45 UV Treshold

2

111

INterval of sending reports is group 1

5 minutes

Ive noticed though that the temperature treshold on both of my multisensors keeps jumping back to some insane high number

131097.6°C

Both different though, even though i changed it if i refresh the page this value jumps up again.

If i look in the logging feed i see this:

[19:21:19] ID 193: Set parameter 41, value = 10
[19:21:19] ID 193: Received parameter 41 report, value = 1310976

Guys,

Please pay attention that interval to send report to Group 1  - is minimum 60 minutes when battery powered!? So if you are using battery to set parameter 111 to 5 minutes is meaningless .

If you're using battery, could you please connect USB power (DO NOT include/exclude ) and see if everything works.

When battery fed, use wake up interval on another setting then 3600s. 240 s is minimum, now all parameters will update every 240 s. So it says also on Aeotec website. I ran into the same issue and @petergebruers helped me out. Better use USB connection.

What I do see is, that not all Aeotec parameters are integrated in the HC2? I miss a lot of them if you look at the engineering documents on their website.
