Backup problem

Question

Hi!

I just upgrade HC2 to version 4.53 and backup doesn't work anymore.. why? Not in cloud and not in local. 
Strange is backup process will work great but it never came to the list
Yesterday version 4.520 works without problem. (in the cloud and local too)

 

Just good to know..

All ok after update but i follow notification to make backup... i try to make cloud backup and now, aftel 20minutes, my HC is stuck.... "stopping services" and nothing....

I have first 3 leds on (from the right to left) and 6 led (with + sign) blincking calm....

Any suggestion!?

Is stuck... with message "stopping services" in browser window...

 

Is safe to reboot now my HC?

This error could be caused by two things:

1) a device was added with some errors

2) some device could wrongly report as a primary device/controller (some remotes did that in the past) while adding

I didn't add devices last 5 months; 

all my +/- 150 devises worked properly

Hi, I just performed the update to 4.530 from 4.520 and it passed fine. Previous to the update, I performed the backup local and cloud from 4.520. I also, unmarked automatic backup from update start window. After the update, I performed one backup from 4.530 to the cloud as well as in local. It worked perfectly. I didn't notice any missfunctionement up to now. thanks

After 60minutes with "stopping services" I made manual restart, HC leds starts and show like loading and after few time all leds gone... I thing this is the end, i lose all settings, devices, scenes

 

I made another restart and wait more time... HC back on again... everything ok.

No Backup in cloud. I'm afraid to make another backup, even localy...

Had the same problem

restart HC2 and made first local backup. saw z-wave dump and backup was made

then made a cloud backup and it did!

 

Now i can upgrade firmware

BTW took me less then 3 min for backup

I had the same problem as Wille78. I had to reboot my HC 2 after 40 minutes of "Stopping services". I have version 4.531 beta.

 

After a restart I looked at Configuration --> Diagnostics --> Z-Wave and there was a message that one of my devices must me reconfigured. I removed the device as I do not use it any longer. After removing it I took a new backup and it worked perfectly.

Hi @rss, have you solved the issue? I have exactly the same, although I was to make a local back up. Did you shutdown the HC2 or waited it out ? And what was the consequence if you restarted the HC2?

    I gave up yesterday. Today I looked HC view and ALL the backups had gone through as the original timestamp!? Backups work with 24h latency :)
    I tested little bit more and it seems to be a cache problem (not before). Different user can see newest backup.
