Flickering lights

Question

Posted

Hi.

Apologies if this has been asked before.

I have multiple FGD212 Dimmer 2 with no bypass installed throughout my house, with

.

Over time, more and more of the lights for some of the groups have begun flickering. It is not all at once, and not when the switch is off. I have attached a video demonstrating.

Is this a classic symptom of not using bypass - only a few of the downlights flickering? I have rooms upstairs with fewer downlights not showing any symptoms.

I really want to get this fixed, but I am wondering how to find out if the problem is the dimmer module, the wiring, the bulbs or something else.

Hi @ishmagel,

Even with LED and higher Wattage, you need bypass because of LED load in general. Add Bypass, recalibrate and it should be ok then.
