Is there a way to generate an alarm if some one removes a wall plug, without using a switch?

    Thank you for the help.

Resuming it is possible by periodic polling the device, however this can cause the all system to get very slow or even stops, because of the mesh capability right?

"Mains powered devices do not communicate if they have nothing to tell"

So and what about the opposite, having the system to advise me when the wall plug is reconnected, or it is the same situation as above?

If the plug is reconnect you can get the power use. If power more than "5" watt you can get a message.

I don't think this is the best solution. The fibaro wall plug doesn't have any equipmment connected to it, so the power consunption measurement is not an option. Even if i configured it to measure is own consumption, it is less than 1W.

In the other day I created a scene to fire the alarm if some one attatched an equipemment to the wall plug. The option configured was, if the power conumption was greater than 0W the alarm should fire. No one connected any equipmment and the alarm fired up any way. That shouldn't be possible right?

I think you want to be notified when this becomes a “dead node”. I’ve seen checks to wake up dead nodes, perhaps the same could notify you instead?
