All lights off routine working for the app

Question

Posted

Hi all,

In the fibaro app, you can switch on / off all lights with one click (-> see screenshot).

Unfortunately, I‘m also using HUE lights and other lights I want to disable with this button.

Is there an official scene where I can add my „special lights“ with a lua script to make that working? Or is there no way to implement that?

Thank you very much.

Dan

There is a workaround that works: Make a scene that observe the state of one (or several) of your lights and the turn on/off your Hue lights accordingly.

@Thomasn Thank you for the hint. Hmmm, I'm not sure that it works as it should. I mean, it's very often that only the HUE's should run (when we watch TV). So if all lights are off, it's not a 100% reliable hint that the HUE's also should be off.

You could make a scene where your television is wached too. If it is on, then your Hue should not turn off. If your television is not connected to a z-wave device, then I would recommend one where power is measured. That way your scene can compare current use of power and act accordingly.
