Localization problem

Question

Posted

We have suddenly been dropped from the Google Localozation address map finder feature. We have update our HC2 to v4.530 and we can no longer set the address on Google maps.

I have attached a screenshot showing the static screen we get. Longitude and Latitude cannot be set

I did wizard setup before so now it just gives me info that all four steps are done and then closes. But if you want to change location in Configuration panel it is also not possible since map is completely missing and just shows broken link:

BTW Zagreb was removed from Time zone list of cities with FW 4.080 and still missing. New Fibaro Home Center app shows that there is No location for my HC2, both of them even HC wizard shows that everything is setup!

BTW that broken link shown on Location configuration is misleading. Even I was mislead and it took me a bit of thinking before I click on it and opened Localization page in wizard. Makes me really wonder how such bugs can pass quality control and testing before release. But then when you see Fibaro home center APP... ;-)

@Kanna Poonan , the issue has been reported some time ago and unfortunately it requires a bit of more work than we estimated.

However, the localization should still work - simply move around the map manually using your mouse and zoom in/out buttons, and set the pin manually in the desired place, then save. The location will be changed and saved properly.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
