Hcl not working as advertised

First few weeks i was really happy with the hcl.

but then i bought a benext p1 dongle.

gas is not working.

Send the parameters with a short story what the problem is to [email protected]

That was more than a week ago.

 

no answer.

 

Trying to update a fibaro heat controller to firmware 4.5

been trying to update for hours.

 

Wrong file size or hanging in downloading for half an hour.

Think the main problem is the under capacity of the fibaro cloud solution.

 

That's why updating the hcl or components works only if you're lucky.

That's why creating or restoring backups, work only if you're lucky.

Doesn't it scare fibaro, that people can brick their homecenters or modules?

 

That's why my hcl works not as advertised.

Is fibaro going to do something about it, or do I need to sell my hcl?

Hi, sorry to hear that you are having problems.
As for the benext p1 dongle parameters, you should have some default stuff appear, and then you need to add them manually, based on the user guide from BeNext.
Fibaro will not use resources on this unless it is something "everyone" wants.

The other I cannot comment on.

 

Do you have Fibaro modules to work with the 
fibaro heat controller to firmware 4.5 ?

Just got mail from support about the benext p1 dongle and they hope to ad the templates in hopefully one of the next updates.

Glad I got an answer about that.

 

As for the heat controller, it's firmware 4.0 and my controller is a HCL.

So I should be able to update he firmware, but looking at the forums, many people are having problems with upgrading the firmware at this point.

 

Hope the fibaro servers get stable soon.

At this point, 

i' ll keep trying when i have the time.
