Remote access

Question

Posted

I bought the HC2 used and the old owner had it linked to an Remote ID account. He does not answer my texts, so I cant get him to remove the box from his account. I tried emailing support at fibaro, but no response as of yet. Can anyone on here fix this?

I don't think it's so simple, otherwise everyone can ask to delete anyone, no questions asked.. Fibaro support will need some information from you and previous owner to make sure that the unit is yours.

Please ask owner to remove it.

Ok, thank you for your time. I have issued a request to disable the remote ID, attaching a picture of the serial and mac address on my box to fibaro support. Just hope they dont take too long to answer..
