Where is the damn save button for settings? + 100k other issues

MrNoTip

Question

My local retailer told me fibaro was teh one to go with, but I am SO disappointed with the first 48 hours. It took me a while to realise why I found it so grating, but then I realized, it actually reloads EVERY page. Every web app for the elast 5 years makes it feel like a desktop experience, but no, Fibaro makes me feel like a 128k user again. I have just dumped a lot on this and I am soooo not impressed.

So to the actual dead end problem:

There is no save button on ANY config page.

I can't set location.

I can't change anything.

I make settings and the browser pulls me up due to lost changes.

Google maps is broken.

WTF?

Here is an idea If you do not see a toolbar on the right, with a "floppy icon" meaning "save", then you might have accidentally zoomed in on that page. Please try to set browser zoom level to 100%

And yes, the map display is broken. But you should be able to enter coordinates.

  • Thanks Peter. In one post you've immediately exceeded Foobaro. This model follows literally ZERO industry standards. I design applications and UIs for a living and this one is wiggidy wack, but now at least I can save my settings. So thankyou.

As for the maps, my Lat long fields appear non editable?

Last I checked I wasn't in Poland. Lift your game Foobaro.

Right. I see. When I click on that Icon above "Longitude" I get an error but it still loads the map and I can scroll/zoom an click a location. Then in the next step I see it accepted new coordinates... I was able to move location from Brussels to London.
