Association issue motion sensor-dimmer

Question

Posted

Hi,

I'm trying to have 2 motion sensors trigger one dimmer through associations.

Basicly i have a halway that needs to be covered by two Fibaro motion sensors. Once motion is detected by either sensor a dimmer should turn the light on. Turn off parameter is set to 60 seconds.

I associate both sensors to the dimmer using group 2 single channel association. What happens is that the sensor that is woken up first starts to detect motion every second, while the other stops detecting it completely.

If one sensor is associated in this way with the dimmer it works beautifully.

Can I even use associatons in this way? Am I missing some setting or parameter?

I’m trying to do the same thing. But I haven’t found a solution make this work.
Is it possible or do I have to give up on this idea?
