Dear Fibaro,

I have seen a lot of worry about the support for 3rd party devices that are not Z-wave. For example, the pulg-in for Nest was discontinued, which of course made all Nest users mad. The response I have seen in this case is that Fibaro will not support all 3rd party devices.

I think people are willing to pay to integrate market available solutions into their home centers. Therefore, I believe that you could make plug-ins that users pay a download-fee to add to their system. This is not a new thing as similar solutions exist on other systems like HomeSeer. Examples of such Pay to use Plug-Ins would be Nest, IKEA, Netatmo, Samsung (TV, Smart things), Tesla, Zigbee-dongle and devices, etc. A good range for such plugins could be 20-50 dollars.

This would make the Home Centers more usable attracting more customers, and, there would be a market potential for developing 3rd party support plugins for Fibaro.

What does the forum and Fibaro think about this idea?
