Global trigger is kept after deletion

Question

Posted

A Scene is triggered by two global vars. After deleting one of those out of the scenes header, the scene keeps to be triggered by even this var. Is it a bug or a feauture?

Bug what we know (yes I can confirm at least 1y ago the same here) can call as feature. ;)

Rebooting hc2 can help solve your issues.

    Thanks a lot!

Rebooting the system is more complicated than the "issues" caused by this ...."feature" :-)

Most important is to know that it's known and maybe eliminated by one of the upcoming updates...

@BigNose82 imho easy to check source kind event in your LUA script instead of waiting when Fibaro will fix FW ;)

Yeah, I thought about that. On the other hand it's quiet not a common cirumstance... In general I add trigger vars to a scene than deleting them. Workaround for this special case was to create a new scene and copy the code.

@BigNose82  Pinocchio counted 2 coins of 5 and gave them away

question how many coins now Pinocchio has

    answer 5!

please assign variables at startup ;))))

yes you can hope what your scene always calling by triggering values in header, but you cannot be sure about it on 100%

    it’s Fibaro ;)
