Garage Door Scene

Hi

 

I have a scene that will close my two garage doors (controlled via an aeotec door controller) at 10pm if for some reason they have been left open.

The only way that I have been able to get this to work is with a magic scene can anyone tell me why it won't work in the block scenes? Every time I go to add a device the door controller isn't there.

 

 

The main reason I want it in a block scene is so that I can use it in the home centre app if I need to. The home centre app doesn't support my door controller at this stage so I thought it might be a work around to create a scene to control it and do it that way.

Your door controller cannot be used as a trigger,
you also do not need to use a trigger in this scene.
I think you can find your door controller after "Then".
The scene can run even if the gate is closed.

Sorry I don't quite understand what you are saying.

 

I don't even see where I can select the garage door. 

 

All I want to do is turn that magic scene into a block or lua scene so I can see it in the home centre app.

You should be able to see the door controller on the screen.
Don't know where the error is.

Hi,

try to look in the Fibaro app, on the second screen -> Equipment -> Other -> then find your room and maybe you will see your garage door.

My 2pcs of Aeotec Garage door controllers were hiding there...

Yeah you are correct I can see them in the Fibaro app no problems. For some reason in the new home centre app they are not supported. I like the home centre app for the Siri function. 

 

I thought a work around would be if I create a scene I could control them via Siri or the home centre app.
