Making a VD sending http commands

Question

Posted

Hi!

I'm trying to make a Virtual Device to control my Denon amplifier.

This string works as a http command in the browser window:

Quote

http://IPADRESSDENON/MainZone/index.put.asp?cmd0=PutVolumeMute%2Fon

This is the code I'm trying to use in the VD that doesn't work:

Quote

POST ./MainZone/index.put.asp?cmd0=PutVolumeMute%2Fon HTTP/1.1
Host: IPADRESSDENON

Settings virtual device:

Host: IPADRESSDENON

Port: 80 (know that this is working)

I've tried countless variables to get this working, and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Would appreciate any help!

    Thanks so much for helping!

Unfortunately that VD is programmed in LUA, and LUA doesn't work for HCL, so then I need to find the way through HTTP programming :(
