Garage Door FGS 213 or FGS 212 how to

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello

Does anyone know how on earth to control their Garage Door with Fibaro Switch or Relay

My garage door has only one remote control and a little push button on the wall...

One push of the button opens it and another closes it....

I want to connect the Switch or Relay to the push button or to the remote control main device and make the 1 sec scene to click/open,click/close

    Hi,i have a full system

I want only to add Z-wave to my system

I want only to give the signal to the board via the relay and be able to control it
    I have a remote control
I have a key inside the house
My idea is to be able to manage it with a button from the Fibaro application.
I do not want to change the whole system, just to upgrade it

    OK,

(FGS212) needs to be placed as per diagram.

    Configuration

Once you have the 1x 2.5Kw relay wired into the circuit and included into the Z-Wave system, you need to change one of the relay's configuration parameters so that it mimics the behaviour of a momentary switch.

Relay to act as a Momentary Switch

When turned On wirelessly (Z-Wave) the relay would stay On until told to turn Off. In this application we need it to behave like a momentary switch, so that it turns off after a short period of around 1 second.

The relay includes an automatic off delay timer, this delay is controlled by configuration parameter 4.

    Fibaro Relay Parameter Setting:

The following parameter needs to be set:

    • 4 - 10 - turns channel 1 off after 1sec (setting is in 0.1s increments)
