Scene to turn on the light on motion + wall switch

Inblue

Question

Hi,

I'm really kind of desperate figuring out how to solve this problem:

I created a block scene so that the motion sensor in the corridor sets dimmer @20% on motion but only when it's dark (lux sensor of the motion sensor) and then it switches off after 60s.

The problem is, when I need 100% light, I simply push the wall switch and it goes to 100%, but as soon as the motion sensor sees motion, it sets the value again at 20%.

I really can't figure out how to give the wall switch a "higher priority" in order to override the motion scene. ;(

Is there some easy way to do this that maybe I'm not considering?

Thank you for your help!!!

Hi,

I'm also not an expert but I think you could work with a variable. But for my idea you need a Fibaro Dimmer behind the wall switch, otherwise it will not work.

So create a variable and call it overide with the values yes and no.

You need to adjust the existing scene, so the the values are when lux is lower then xx and montion is triggerd and variable is no then turn on lights at 20% and turn off after xx seconds/minutes

In the Fibaro Dimmer you activate the parameter to enable scene activation. Create a scene that when you click once it changes the override value  to yes and turns on the light at 100%. After you turn off the lights the override variable needs to go back to no.
