Itach wf2ir 3 ports

Question

Posted

Hey there!

I want to buy an itach wf2ir and I'm interested if I can separately use the three IR connectors. Do they all send the same signal when I press a button on a VD or just one connector sends the signal? Can I make a VD for just one IR connector?

Yes, you can use all channels, or two or just one.

I use the IP2IR with only the booster on channel 3, works perfect to control all my audio equipment all located in one cabinet

Thank you for your informations. The channels can't receive any data, they just send it, am I right? Do you know if there is any method to receive data from an air conditioner unit? I want to know if that unit has been powered on after a power outage and shut it down in that case. I was thinking about making a scene where I check the power consumed with a fibaro switch, but in my case the power consumed by my unit is about 3-4 kW and that can burn the switch.

I have a zxt 120  and wallplug fibaro to controle my AC (3kw)

My AC doesn't come above the 400watt at cooling and 1.9kw at heating

The zxt have inbuilt libary for AC or can learn from other remotes

For your questio, It's a one way and you have to youse a wallplug or something to measur the power. You can learn the itach with a ir remote

My AC consumes over 3kw, so this doesn't work for me. A zxt 120 will work best, but I'm looking for a cheaper solution.

Does anyone knows anything about FIBARO Smart Implant? Can I use this to find out if my AC is on or not?
